There’s no manager helping to guide the process. There’s no trainer here helping the new staff orient themselves or correct mistakes. Some of that is to be expected for a hotel that just opened a few days ago, but what’s not to be expected is that there doesn’t seem to be any hope in sight. The bad news is, the service is slow, disorganized, and generally inaccurate. The good news is that the good food and drinks haven't changed. Good margaritas and good Mexican food - two of my favorites. I loved this spot when this was the Revel. I write this as I sit in the Distrito Cantina. Instead I focused on things that are likely to be issues beyond the first few weeks. Many things can go wrong in the early days, such as slow service, everything not being fully opened, and long lines, but that is to be expected. I'll caveat this review by saying that I didn't focus on elements of my experience that are likely due to the fact that the hotel just opened this week.
